ABOUT THE PRODUCT

The Wire chair was originally designed between 1950 and 1952, after much experimentation the designers molded a wire shell seat using cross-woven steel wires and mounted it on a bent-wire base.

The sculptured look of the Bikini DKR wire chair made it an instant classic, the two-piece seat pad was nicknamed the bikini and consisted of a seat bottom and back pad that ties in the middle and securely fits the body of the chair (hence, The Bikini Pad).

MATERIALS
Bent and welded steel rod seat shell on Eiffel Tower metal rod base, upholstered in either fabric or leather seat pads.
